Elisa Tosca de Angelis
Elisa Tosca De Angelis (Terni, 2000) completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in oboe at the A. Casella Conservatory in L'aquila (Italy) with the M. E. Mutalipassi. Since October 2021 she continues her studies at the University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig with Prof. Nick Deutsch, Qing Lin, Henrik Wahlgren and Gundel Jannemman-Fischer. During her studies, she has also received lessons from Kai Fromberg, Ralph van Daal, Viola Wilmsen, Jonathan Kelly, Andreas Wittman, Domenico Orlando, Gregor Witt, Dithelm Jonas, Olivier Stankiewicz and Jean-Louis Capezzali, among others. Elisa de Angelis is a scholarship holder of various institutions, including the Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz. She has already gained her first orchestral experience in various young projects such as the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the ONCI (Orchestra Nazionale Conservatori Italiani), the OGI (Orchestra Giovanile Italiana), the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, the EUYO (European Union Youth Orchestra), the Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini and the Karajan Academy, where she had the opportunity to work with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Antonio Pappano, Pablo Heras Casado, Daniele Gatti and soloists such as Beatrice Rana and Leonidas Kavakos. She has also taken part in many festivals such as the Pacific Music Festival and the Zermatt Festival Academy. Elisa de Angelis has won prizes at various competitions such as the Premio Nazionale delle Arti (Madera, 1st prize), Il solista e l'orchestra (Abruzzo, 1st prize), Leonardo della Musica (Rome, 1st prize) and Concorso Internazionale Giuseppe Tomassini (Petritoli, 1st prize). She plays 2nd oboe and cor anglais with the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra.
