Leticia Gañán

Leticia Gañán was born in Seville in 1974 and graduated in architecture from the University of Seville in 2000. Between 2001 and 2006, she focussed on her work as a freelance architect, collaborating or co-designing public and private development projects. In 2006, she decided to make a career change and joined the project department of General de Producciones y Diseño (GPD), where she collaborated in the design and coordination of worldwide projects for museums, exhibition stands, multimedia shows, expo pavilions and events.
Estudiodedos (AAPEE)
In 2008, Curt and Leticia founded Estudiodedos. Mainly dedicated to the performing arts, they have also developed other multidisciplinary scenographic projects such as events or exhibition stands. From 2012 to 2020, they led the Master's programme in Scenography and Exhibition Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid. In the field of theatre, they have designed sets for outstanding Spanish directors such as Alfonso Zurro, Juan Carlos Rubio, Magüi Mira, Juan Mayorga, Sergio Peris-Mencheta and Ernesto Caballero.
In the field of dance, they have worked with international choreographers, including Johan Inger for productions for the Compañía National de Danza Madrid, the Aterballetto (Italy), the Semperoper Ballett Dresden, the Göteborgsoperan (Sweden), Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and the Helsinki Ballet; and with Goyo Montero for the ballet in Nuremberg, Hanover, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and the Sao Paulo Dance Company. In Spain, he has created productions with Eva Yerbabuena, Victor Ullate, Chevi Muraday and Angel Rodriguez. In 2014, Curt was involved in the founding of the Asociación de artistas plásticos escénicos de España (AAPEE) and has been a member of the board ever since.
The studio has been honoured with 25 awards, including the MAX prize (Spain) twice, four ADE prizes and ten Lorca prizes.
