Moto Perpetuo (UA)
The choreographer duo Iratxe Ansa and Igor Bacovich develop their own physical language for each creation, which arises from intuition in conjunction with the dancers and the interplay of stage elements and light, inspired by the symmetries in the music of Philip Glass.
Invocation (UA)
South African choreographer Mthuthuzeli November's choreography is inspired by the sounds and rhythms of his homeland and the contemporary paintings of artist Esther Mahlangu, which he brings to life with his work: expressive, repetitive ornaments with clear contours in traditional colours.
Vers un Pays Sage (1995)
"Vers un Pays Sage" (1995) by French choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot appears like a watercolour painting in shades of red, blue and yellow under the warm southern French sun. Dance is dialogue - between bodies, driven by fast-paced music, between cutting-edge ballet and expressive modernity.
