Katie Campbell

Katie Campbell studied Cultural Studies at the University of Hildesheim and Music Theater Studies at the University of Bayreuth. She completed internships at the Staatstheater Hannover and Braunschweig, the Schauspiel Frankfurt and the Komische Oper Berlin and worked as an assistant director for the Boston Opera Collaborative. From 2021 to 2023 she was engaged as assistant dramaturg at the Komische Oper Berlin. During this time, among other things, she was co-dramaturg for the world premiere of the children's opera “Tom Sawyer” by Kurt Weill.
Katie Campbell has been a dramaturge at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein since the 2024/25 season.
