Stefan Stechmann
Stefan Stechmann already led a dance formation during his school days, for which he choreographed two performances on ZDF-Fernsehgarten. As a pupil, he was a member of the youth ballet of the Hildesheim City Theatre. He completed his training as a stage artist at the renowned Stage School of Music, Dance & Drama in Hamburg, where he trained in acting, singing and dance for three years. Since 1997, his numerous engagements have taken the baritone to the Staatstheater Oldenburg, Opernhaus Halle, Landestheater Detmold, Theater der Altmark in Stendal, the Domfestspiele Bad Gandersheim, the Landesbühne Hannover, the Thalia in the Kunsthalle in Hamburg and many more. He has travelled to Germany, Austria, Luxembourg and Switzerland on numerous tours. Title and leading roles in successful children's and youth theatre productions round off his impressive repertoire. Stefan Stechmann has also worked for television time and again, appearing in the ARD early evening series ‘Die Schule am See’, for ZDF in ‘Streit um drei’, as well as for SAT1 and various commercials and educational films. As a member of the ensemble, he can be heard on the CDs ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ (Bad Gandersheim) and ‘SimsalaGrimm - Die Rückkehr der Märchenretter’. He directed the Benjamin Blümchen Christmas musical on its major tours through Germany and Austria (Karma Limited Theatre in cooperation with Kiddinx) for the first time.
