Raised in Melbourne to Australian-Italian parents, Joaquin received his dance training at the Australian Ballet School. From there he first moved to the neighbouring island, to the Royal New Zealand Ballet. In the 2019/20 season, he joined the Bavarian Junior Ballet Munich under the direction of Ivan Liška. There he gained dance experience in the classical repertoire and in pieces by contemporary choreographers such as Jiří Kylián, Hans van Manen, Christopher Wheeldon and John Neumeier. He has also performed in a famous historical work, the Triadic Ballet by Oskar Schlemmer. In the 2021/22 season Joaquin danced as a member of Gauthier Dance in choreographies by Hofesh Schechter, Ohad Naharin and Cayetano Soto before joining the Ballett am Rhein for the 2022/23 season. Here he celebrated his premiere as "The Cold" in Demis Volpi's "the little match girl passion" and Michal in Volpis "Krabat" and the father in "Der Nussknacker". Furthermore he danced in "Le sacre du printemps" by Marcos Morau.
