Bogdana Bevziuk

The Ukrainian soprano Bogdana Bevziuk first studied violin before beginning her vocal studies in the Department of Opera Singing at the Tchaikovsky Academy of Music in Kiev. She graduated succesfully in 2023. She sang the role of Oksana in the opera production "Zaporozhets beyond the Danube" by Ukrainian composer Semen Hulak-Artemovsky, staged by the Tchaikovsky Academy of Music in 2021. She is a prize-winner of the International Vasyl Slipak Singing Competition in Lviv 2021. Since the 2022/23 season Bogdana Bevziuk has been a member of the Opera Studio of Deutsche Oper am Rhein and has appeared here as Taumännchen (Humperdinck "Hansel and Gretel") and Barbarina (Mozart "Le nozze di Figaro") as well as in concerts. Her roles for the 2023/24 season include Tebaldo in Verdi's "Don Carlo", Jano in Janáček's "Jenůfa" and again Taumännchen. She also sings 1st Squire in Wagner's "Parsifal" and Papagena in Mozart's "Die Zauberflöte" here.
