Ori Lichtik
Ori Lichtik is a musician, drummer and creative DJ. He has been working with Gai Behar and Sharon Eyal in their L-E-V Dance Company as a musician since 2005. His compositions interact with the dancers and are characterised by improvisation: he creates music, sounds and rhythms that reflect, trigger and respond to the dancers' movements and structure the entire choreography.
As one of the founding fathers of the techno scene in Israel, he has created, produced and developed music projects, techno raves and numerous other music and performance events since 1996. For more than ten years, he has also headed the DJ department at MUZIK, the music production college in Tel Aviv, where he is also a lecturer.
Ori Lichtik conceived the music for the choreography "Salt Womb" by Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar, to be performed in the 2021/22 season at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
