Louise Bennett

Louise Bennett trained at The Royal Ballet School and danced with The Royal Swedish Ballet, Norwegian National Ballet and English National Ballet. From 2016 she worked as a freelance ballet teacher, rehearsal director, choreographer and company manager based in London, before joining Ballett am Rhein in 2020.
Louise Bennett has taught for companies including Ballett Zürich, Company Wayne McGregor, Ballet Black, Rambert, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures and Enter Achilles (DV8/Rambert), and for students at Rambert School, Laban Dance Centre, Zürich University of the Arts, Balettakademien Stockholm and London Studio Centre. She also worked as an on set ballet teacher and coach for Francesca Hayward for the film adaptation of „Cats”.
As a choreographer, she has created pieces for The Royal Ballet School, The National Youth Ballet of Great Britain, Ballet Central, Encore Dance Company, Tivoli Ballet and Outside Edge Theatre Company, as well as winning the Kenneth MacMillan and Ninette de Valois choreographic awards and being selected to take part in Wayne McGregor’s „Dancelines“ workshop.
