Sieglinde Feldhofer

Sieglinde Feldhofer studied singing at Graz University of the Arts, was a finalist in the Belvedere Singing Competition and was awarded the Austrian Music Theatre Prize (Best Young Artist).
The soprano has been a member of the Graz Opera since autumn 2008. Role selection: Eliza (“My Fair Lady“), Maria (“The Sound of Music“), Adele (“Die Fledermaus“), Zerlina (“Don Giovanni“), Ottilie (“Im weißen Rössl“), Julie Jordan (“Carousel“), Jakob ("Gold!“), Jadja (“Polish Wedding“), Princess Amirah (“The Arabian Princess“), Maria (“The West Side Story“), Clivia (“Clivia“), Yvette (“The Passenger“), Gretel (“Hänsel and Gretel“), Musetta (“La bohème“), Susanna (“Le nozze di Figaro“), Goose Maid (“Köngskinder“), Marie (“The Bartered Bride“) and Antonia (“The Tales of Hoffmann”).
Guest appearances have taken her to the Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen as Adele, to the Salzburg State Theatre as Adele and Franziska Cagliari (“Wiener Blut“) and to the Baden Theatre as Sonja (“Der Zarewitsch“), Marzelline (“Fidelio“), Blanka (“Die blaue Mazur“), Eva (“Eva“) and Angèle (“The Count of Luxembourg”). At the Lake Festival in Mörbisch, she appeared as Mascha (“Der Zarewitsch“), Adele and Christel (“Der Vogelhändler“). At the Bad Ischl Teaching Festival she sang Margit (“Wo die Lerche singt“), Kondja Gül (“Die Rose von Stambul“), Princess Laya (“Die Blume von Hawaii“), Clo-Clo, Claire (“Wiener Frauen“) and Countess (“Wiener Blut“). She appeared at the Vienna Volksoper as Franziska Cagliari and Hortense (“Der Opernball“).
In 2018, the soprano made her debut at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing as Valencienne (“The Merry Widow“) under the direction of Hugo de Ana. 2022 saw her debut at the Staatstheater Braunschweig as Baroness Freimann (“Der Wildschütz“). 2023 debut at the Staatsoperette in Dresden as Jadja (“Polish Wedding”).

This season will see premieres at the Graz Opera in the world premiere of “Mein Lieblingstier heißt Winter”, as Elisabeth in “Schön ist die Welt” by Franz Lehár, as Helena in Britten's “A Midsummer Night's Dream” and at the Baden Theatre as Princess Fedora in “Die Zirkusprinzessin” by Emmerich Kálmán.
