Jochen Mauderer

Jochen Mauderer studied the clarinet at the Detmold Academy of Music. While still a student, this Study Foundation of the German People scholarship-winner performed in a series of ensembles – including the Detmold Brass Sextet and the Detmold Brass Circle. He graduated in 1983, becoming a clarinettist with the Bochumer Symphoniker in the same year. He moved to the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker in 1986 and has remained a member of this orchestra ever since.
