Thank you!

Partners
As a cultural institution, we are supported by the cities of Düsseldorf and Duisburg as shareholders. As investors and members of the Supervisory Board, they are involved in the creation of cultural programmes in both cities. The third shareholder in the group is the Friends of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
Circles of Friends
The Circle of Friends of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and the Ballett am Rhein are committed to opera and ballet. Their commitment puts art at the centre of attention and enables us to create great productions and projects.
supporters
Without financial and artistic support from third parties, many artistic projects, special events and digital and "analogue" educational offers would not be possible.

Media partners
We can count on our media partners to spread the word about our art and talk about our work.

artistic partners
We work together with various institutions and organisations in joint projects, exchange ideas, learn from each other and create new services.

Medical and therapeutic care for Ballett am Rhein
Our ballet dancers have to master a diverse range of movement languages in order to be able to cope with the physically intensive and demanding rehearsals for an equally diverse repertoire. They are artists and top athletes at the same time. We therefore pay particular attention to the dancers' capital, their bodies.

Three physiotherapists have been offering their treatments in the company's ballet house for many years. This model is a valuable achievement, as help with health problems can be provided quickly and unbureaucratically on site. By recognising and treating overuse in good time, injuries can often be prevented - a prophylaxis that the "normal" healthcare system does not provide for, but which can be of existential importance for our artists.

But Ballett am Rhein also receives excellent care in the event of an injury or accident at work. Dr Larissa Arens, head of the medicos.AufSchalke centre of excellence for dance medicine, which has particular expertise in dance-specific prevention and rehabilitation, is available to advise both the dancers and the ballet management. Its own trauma surgery / orthopaedic practice and its medical network guarantee the company the best possible care. A new cooperation has been established with the GRADUS Orthopaedics & Trauma Surgery Practice, a state-of-the-art practice in the Medical Centre in Düsseldorf Grafenberg, which also houses a radiology practice in addition to various medical disciplines. The focus of Dr Manuel Backhaus and Dr Holger Godry, who look after the ballet company, is on spinal surgery and the treatment of sports injuries using minimally invasive surgery (arthroscopy) in addition to conservative treatment of orthopaedic and trauma surgery conditions.
