8- / 6- / and Young 4-Tickets
CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS FOR THE EIGHT-TICKET COMBINATION OF DEUTSCHE OPER AM RHEIN
A contract is created when the Deutsche Oper am Rhein receives a personally signed order or payment in full - unless the Deutsche Oper am Rhein explains in writing within 14 days that it cannot accept the contract. 8- / 6- / Young 4-Tickets can only be obtained for a complete season, they cannot be cancelled at an earlier date. These terms and conditions are part of that contract. The Terms of Business also apply to the contracts when these are not governed by any specific rules.
The vouchers are transferable.
CHANGES TO EVENTS
Changes may be made to the programme, date and cast. In the case of a performance being cancelled due to force majeure or missed by the ticket holder, no replacement will be made. If there is no performance due to an internal strike, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein will make its best endeavours to offer a replacement performance. If this is not possible, as a rule the entry price will be refunded in the form of an exchange voucher (valid for performances during the current season). Such decisions will be made on a case by case basis by the theatre management.
Vouchers can be used for both theatres subject to availability in the price category for which they have been purchased. In the case of the Young 4-Ticket, seats will be selected by the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in accordance with the state of sales. Vouchers must be used during the season for which they have been bought. Holders of the 8- / 6- / Young 4-Ticket can use their vouchers in person in the Opernshops in Düsseldorf and Duisburg or send them in by post. If vouchers are sent to the Opernshop, the risk of non-delivery is borne by the owner of the 8- / 6- / Young 4-Ticket.
The 8- / 6- / Young 4-Tickets can be used for performances by the Deutsche Oper am Rhein (at Opernhaus Düsseldorf or Theater Duisburg). Occasional surcharges may be required. Your vouchers may be used for every performance of the current season (not including premieres, New Year’s Eve, special events and visiting productions). There is no obligation to provide a specific performance or a specific seat. If the seating category desired is not available when redeeming the voucher, a higher category may be purchased for an additional charge. If a lower price category is chosen, no refund is possible. Lost vouchers cannot be replaced.
8- / 6- / YOUNG 4-TICKET VOUCHERS
The vouchers will be kept ready for collection by the Subscription Service of the owner‘s choice. Otherwise the vouchers will be sent free of charge upon receipt of payment. The risk of non-delivery is borne by the owner of the vouchers. The price group purchased is displayed on the vouchers.
VIRTUAL VOUCHER SERVICE
If you choose virtual vouchers, your vouchers will be administered within the ticket system. No vouchers will be printed – even retrospectively.
