Deutschsprachige Opernkonferenz
The Deutschsprachige Opernkonferenz (DOK, German-speaking Opera Conference) is an association of 13 opera houses in German-speaking countries and 3 associated member theatres from London, Milan and Paris. The DOK meets twice a year to exchange views on current topics and challenges.
Its aim is to strengthen and further develop the opera business in the entire German-speaking region and beyond. Furthermore, the member theatres of the DOK are committed to the preservation and future viability of opera as an art form as part of the indispensable values of European culture. The DOK stands for cooperation, transparency and sustainable development - in the opera business as well as in society.
Since the 2022/23 season, the DOK has been chaired by Susanne Moser, co-director and managing director of the Komische Oper Berlin. The DOK office is located at the Komische Oper Berlin.
