Victoria Moreno Zaldúa
Victoria Moreno Zaldúa was born in 1999 in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, Spain, and began her musical training in her home town at the age of 8, completing her studies in Jerez de la Frontera. She then studied in Madrid with Zohrab Tadevosyan at the Katarina Gurska Higher Center and attended several summer courses, including the International Summer Academy at the Mozarteum University Salzburg.
Since 2022, she has been a student in the violin class of Prof. Yamei Yu at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf. She has also completed masterclasses with teachers such as Mark Gothoni and Yuri Volguin and is the winner of a chamber music competition in Spain.
She has been a member of orchestras such as the Neue Philharmonie München, the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and the Animato Chamber Orchestra, where she also played as concertmaster. She recently became a member of the Gustav Mahler Jungendorchester. She can now be seen at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein as the Fiddler in Jerry Bock's “Anatevka”.
