Tobias Häusler

“Actually, I'm just a waiter,” says Tobias Häusler about his job. “I admire the many brilliant chefs. But I know that an unforgettable evening also requires perfect service at the table.”
In 1996 - while he was still at school in Münster - Tobias Häusler turned his passion into a career. He initially worked at various NRW local radio stations in his home town of Münster and the district of Warendorf. After working at Hitradio FFH in Frankfurt am Main and Antenne Bayern in Munich, he began his traineeship at radio NRW in 2001 - the state-wide program of all NRW local radio stations and market leader of all radio programs in Germany.
Since the beginning of his work, the interview has been his special focus. Tobias Häusler was the youngest journalist ever to win the Axel Springer Prize. This was followed by several radio awards from the State Media Authority. In 2011, he was nominated for the Grimme Award - in the category “Best Interview” (German Radio Award). After moving to WDR television as a presenter of the national news magazines in the WDR newsroom (Aktuelle Stunde, WDR aktuell), he moved to WDR 2 radio, first in the program “WDR 2 - Zu Gast bei Tobias Häusler”, later as Christine Westermann's successor in “WDR 2 MonTalk”.
As a presenter, Tobias Häusler hosts numerous business, federal and state political events. He also “waits tables” at the DRK Opera Gala
