Eva Hölter
Personal Assistant to the General Director and Administrator of the Opera Studio

Eva Hölter studied German, English, and History at the University of Wuppertal and received her doctorate in 2001 with the dissertation "Der Dichter der Hölle und des Exils - Historische und systematische Profile der deutschsprachigen Dante-Rezeption". Her other scholarly publications in the field include contributions on Dante in cinema and comics, on German Dante reception in the 19th century (2012), and an anthology on Dante reception (2016). After internships in the press and museum sector, Eva Hölter worked from 2000 to 2001 under the directorship of Anna Badora in the press office of the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus and from 2002 to 2003 as Personal Assistant to the Rector at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. In 2004, she moved to Deutsche Oper am Rhein as Assistant to Executive Director Jochen Grote and has been Personal Assistant to General Director Prof. Christoph Meyer since 2009. Since the 2014/15 season, she has co-directed the Opera Studio of Deutsche Oper am Rhein with Ville Enckelmann.
