Ediz Yaşlıçam
Ediz Yaşliҫam was born in Rome/Italy in 1987 and received his first violin lessons at the age of eight. After completing his bachelor's degree at the Mimar Sinan Conservatory with Prof. Nuri Iyicil in Istanbul, he continued his master's studies at the Folkwang University of the Arts with Prof. Mincho Michev in Essen. During this time, he took part in many different master classes, for example under the direction of Dora Schwarzberg, Lucas David, Vadim Gluzman and Pinchas Zukermann.
Solo concerts have taken him to Italy, Bulgaria, Turkey, the Czech Republic and finally Germany. He began gaining orchestral experience at the age of 16 and gave concerts with various festival and private orchestras, where he also had the opportunity to perform in major concert halls in Germany. In 2016, he was accepted into the Orchestra Academy of the Hessian State Orchestra as a scholarship holder and has been a member of the 1st violin section of the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra since 2018.
