Christian Kass

Christian Kass, born in Frankfurt, studied stage design in Salzburg and began working at the Bavarian State Opera in 1990. He is responsible for "Rigoletto" at the Arena di Verona (1996), Kenneth MacMillan's Manon, Sergei Polunin's "Satori" at the London Coliseum and Kinsun Chan's "Coal, Ashes and Light" at the Theater St. Gallen. In addition to numerous productions at the Bavarian State Opera, he worked with Andrey Kaydanovskiy on the works "Cecil Hotel" and "Der Schneesturm".
